Photographic Style:
Our wedding photography emphasizes photojournalism with
a balance of fashion styling and glamorous flair; capturing moments that will convey
for your lifetime the wide range of emotions and experiences of your wedding day celebration.
Most of our photography is
completely un-posed and recorded as your wedding day unfolds in its own unique way. We schedule a time during the wedding day for some intimate portraits of the bride and groom to your personalities and emotions of the celebration.
After the wedding, we spend significant
time preparing your images for delivery. Your wedding images will include selections enhanced with black and white, color toning, and our own unique effects.
Bridal Sessions:
I truly love bridal portrait sessions; this time allows me help the bride to look and feel her most beautiful. Fashion has always been a passion so I strongly incorporate this into my bridal shoots. I love beauty and there is no such thing as an ugly bride. I want the bride to feel glamorous, beautiful and sexy. Be prepared to laugh and joke around because these sessions are fun.
Engagement Sessions:
My engagement sessions are relaxed and fun. This is also a good time to break the ice and for us to get to know each other better. I usually leave the session having made two friends, instead of feeling that I was just doing a job. I do not believe in putting someone in stiff uncomfortable poses that look and feel unnatural. The loose posing that I will do is just to put the two of you in a situation and then let you interact with each other.

Q. Will you photograph our wedding yourself?
A. Yes, I photograph ALL my weddings, your special day is very important to me.

Q. When will Bridal or Engagement sessions need to be taken?
A. Bridal / Engagement portraits need to be scheduled six to eight weeks prior to the wedding date for production time or any weather delays. Session times are from one to four hours, depending on how many locations we will be shooting, driving time and time of day. I take 75 to 125 photographs per session. Proofing will be online within two weeks.

Q. Despite the fact that you classify yourself as a photojournalist, do you photograph formals as well? And how do you coordinate them?
A. Yes, I do photograph the formal pictures that you will be needing for family that want that type of image. I like to keep these shots to a minimum. I prefer that the bride and groom assign the coordination of formal pictures to a friend or family member that knows the people that you will want in the formal shots.

Q. How many photographs will you take on the wedding day?
A. That depends on many factors, I capture everything that is available. But generally I get from 80 - 100 shots per hour of coverage time.

Q. Will you stay with us all day and go to multiple locations?
A. Yes, my day starts and ends when yours does.

Q. What is a proof magazine? Do you offer alternative proofs besides online; for example, proof prints? How long does it take?
A. A proof magazine of your wedding images is 8 x 10 size prints with nine images per page spiral bound together showing 400+ images. Yes, I offer 4 x 6 proof prints instead of a proof magazine if you prefer. Proofs are available for viewing within one month after your wedding date.

Q. Is there a minimum purchase of prints on top of the package?
A. No. You are not required to purchase additional prints above your wedding coverage price.

Q. The high resolution images, are they accompanied by a copyright release?
A. Yes, you will be given a copyright release with for unlimited printing of your wedding images for personal use included on the CD's of images.

Q. Will you observe at our wedding rehearsal?
A. Yes, I will be attending your rehearsal if I am not shooting another event at that time.

Q. What kind of equipment do you use? And do you carry back-ups?
A. I use professional digital cameras, and I have backup equipment for everything that I use.

Q. What clothing will you wear at our wedding?
A. I wear all black dress clothes.

Q. What is your payment policy? And do you accept credit cards?
A. The retainer fee for Wedding Coverage is $800, and is applied to your Wedding Coverage price. Final payment is due 30 days before your wedding date. No, I do not accept credit cards at this time.

Q. Do you mind our guests taking pictures at the wedding as well?
A. No, as long as they don't get in the way or become a distraction from me getting the professional images that you hired me to capture.
